ROGOWSKI CURRENT TRANSDUCER
A non-contact Rogowsky current transducer
provides an output voltage which is proportional to the measured current (e.g. 1mV/A). It tracks the current as it changes with time and therefore can reproduce the current waveform on an
oscilloscope or a data recorder.
APPLICATIONS |
|
• |
Monitoring current waveforms for semiconductor switches |
|
• |
Development and servicing of power electronic equipment |
|
• |
Measuring high-frequency power such as for induction heating |
|
• |
Measuring fault currents or circuit breaker interruption currents |
|
• |
Measuring large single pulses of current such as for magnetic
accelerators
or capacitor discharge |
